Have you seen those cool boxes at Michael’s in their dollar section? I purchased some awhile back and thought they would make a neat gift box to put earrings or a bracelet in.
Then I needed to make a birthday card and these boxes were sitting on my table and I had the idea to make a birthday car box. I cut a strip of paper to the width of the box and then folded it into an accordion fold.
I stamped happy birthday using Autumn Leaves Scribbles Alpha clear stamps.
I put some clear initial stamps on the bottom of the box as a little gift. 
The back seemed so boring so I added squares of my favorite papers.
This was one of those projects that was hard to give away… I need to make one for me now!

Want to send your friends some Florida oranges to warm them up? Here is an orange card I made using the Sure Cuts A Lot software. This is one reason to have a wide variety of orange cardstock. This is an actual card not just an orange embellishment shape. The card measures 5 x 5.25″

Cupcake card
I just got the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge last weekend. It has lots of fun cupcake cards on it. This card is made using button 4.

Paper Piecing
Paper Piecing is a nice way to add color to your artwork. For this card I stamped the image three times, once on the pink patterned paper, once on the yellow patterned paper, and once on the green paper. I then cut out the flower and the dish and attached them to the image on the green paper. When cutting out your colored image pieces if you cut just inside the line you will have an easier time lining them up on your main image.

Color Chart Card
This is a card I made using the color chart printouts from the Minolta color copier. I recycled them into colorful elements on this card. I used the Cricut to cut out the shapes.
